Bill Timpone passed away last evening after being under hospice care for about three weeks. He was able to stay at home throughout the hospice process.
Niane shared that “This has been quite a difficult bump in the road but there is much that we are very grateful for. Bill is leaving this physical body and moving into his spiritual body. It makes me at peace knowing that he will be able to see all his loved ones again and will be free of all the sickness. He will be up sitting proudly in his first chair and the concert master in heaven.”
Niane expressed her thanks to everyone in the band for all their love and support during this last year. This has made the journey softer and more peaceful.
The family plans to have a Celebration of Life for Bill around his 75th birthday on November 1 or so. It will be at the First Presbyterian Church on Enota. We will be able to truly celebrate a life well lived. The family request is that everyone that chooses to attend will be wearing some kind of outdoor wear such as hiking clothes, a backpack and hiking poles, fishing gear and hat. That is what Bill would want. Everyone will be invited to attend.
Please keep Niane and Bill’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
