Hi, Believers!
What a year it has been! Take a moment to pat yourselves on the back because you have truly earned it!
Over the past year, you have performed more than 60 pieces of music for audiences totaling over 2,500 people. Every concert was met with enthusiastic applause, rave reviews, and heartfelt appreciation from those who experienced the power of your music.
I want to extend a special thank you to our Board of Directors and the members of our outstanding committees. Your dedication behind the scenes is a huge part of our success:
- Member Relations – Keeping us informed, connected, and creating fantastic Back to Band Parties. Thank you for fostering such a welcoming and supportive community!
- Planning and Production – Turning every performance into a polished, professional, and memorable event. You make us look and sound our best!
- Music and Equipment – Keeping our music library, equipment, and resources organized and performance-ready. Your attention to detail is invaluable!
- Public Relations – Spreading the word and helping us fill our venues with wonderful audiences who love and support what we do. Keep tooting our horn!
- Sponsor Relations – Building and maintaining relationships with our supporters and keeping them informed about the impact of their generosity. Your work helps sustain our mission!
The truth is simple: without the commitment and hard work of every member, volunteer, and committee, we could not continue to reach new audiences and inspire them through music.
Our mission is to bring glory to God and joy to our audiences and one another. We accomplish that every time we perform. But what makes those performances truly special is the dedication you bring to every rehearsal. Your focus, preparation, and willingness to woodshed those challenging passages continue to raise the bar and elevate our ensemble to new heights.
The Patriotic Concert on June 28th with the GFUMC Choir is a prime example. The attendance count was a new all-time record! 760 people packed the sanctuary! I heard many, many great comments about the performance. The most notable:

Our 2026-27 Season is shaping up to be another amazing year of musical performances with the Believers Concert Band!! Our first rehearsal of the season is this Monday, August 10, from 6-8:00pm!
