Dear Band,
Just a few things before Tuesday’s rehearsal:
To the best I can tell, Rudy is having some uncomfortable times. Yesterday morning he sent Frank the following “Thanks Frank. These are days of transition… very low energy level. At hospital ER yesterday for tests. more news later.” I will bring you up to speed as I get them. Please keep Rudy in your prayers.

Music for rehearsal this week is listed below. We will spend time some serious time on Hymn to the Fallen. We have three rehearsals before the dress rehearsal with the choir and two rehearsals before we play at Lakeside. We will spend the first 10 minutes of the rehearsal on the Lakeside music and then concentrate on the patriotic selections.

I don’t remember if I mentioned it or not, we will need to have an extra rehearsal in the sanctuary with the choir on Wednesday, June 24, like we did last year. The choir will be with us on Tuesday also. These combined rehearsals on Tuesday, June 23, and Wednesday June 24, in the Sanctuary, are critical to putting the “final touch” to each piece and getting a general feel of the group. Please make every effort to be at all of the remaining rehearsals if at all possible.

Also, I would like to extend the rehearsals by 15 minutes. This would really help get through some of the music.

Following is a list of music we will work on until our summer break on June 29. Please bring all of the selections with you to rehearsal.

Be safe

Richard
