Monday, June 22, Rehearsal with John LaForge and GFUMC Choir 6-8pm at GFUMC Sanctuary   Please come at 5:00pm to help set-up 

Wednesday, June 24, Tech Rehearsal with the Choir & Tech Crew 6:30-9pm

Sunday, June 28, Patriotic Concert with GFUMC Choir 4pm (2-4pm Set-up & Warm-up)

Here are more details about Sunday, June 28:

2:00 pm – Set-up stage for concert

2:30-3:15 pm – Brief warm-up

3:15-3:50 pm – Break/Tune with your section

3:50 pm – Be on stage – individual warm-up

3:55 pm – Tune

3:58 pm – Choir enters

4:00 pm – Patriotic Concert with GFUMC Choir 

5:00 pm – After concert, mingle with the audience and then clear stage and put equipment away in the proper storage areas.

Things to remember:

  • Concert Dress is our formal uniform:

Men: Black tuxedo, white shirt, black bow tie, and black shoes and socks. 

Women: Long black dress or a black blouse with a black long skirt or black dressy slacks and black dress shoes.

  • Music and instrument (mutes, accessories, …)
  • Music stand lights
  • Water bottle

Remember that there are no rehearsals during the month of July!  Have a great break and we will see you at our Back to Band Social in August (details coming soon). We will have our first rehearsal of the 2026-27 season on Monday, August 10th from 6-8:00 pm.
