Dear Band,

With the great response to the “Three Hour Tour,” everyone seems ready to get back together and have a fun time. I hope the boat can take all of those signed up! Thanks, Anna Jones (flute), for all the hard work to make the party a success.

I look forward to another season with you. I believe the community is looking forward to sharing with us also. At the Patriotic Concert, I mentioned we would break from June 29 – Aug 11. Well, I need another week to get my act together. Tuesday, August 18, will be our “Back to rehearsal” Tuesday! (YEA!!!!) I hope that you will use the extra week to “build up your lip.”

I apologize if I sound selfish, but – being together and contributing to something bigger than ourselves – energizes me. I can’t wait until Tuesday, August 18, 6:00 pm for our next rehearsal.
