Hi Believers,

Monday’s rehearsal was a strong start. As always, it takes a little time to adjust to the Sanctuary and to a different conductor. Tonight, we’ll focus on refining details so that Sunday’s performance can be truly outstanding.

After careful consideration, John LaForge and I have decided to perform “My Country ’Tis of Thee” with piano and possibly percussion only, without brass. I appreciate the hard work you’ve put into preparing this piece, but we simply haven’t had enough time to bring it to the level we want for this performance.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone tonight as we continue our work together!

Please be reminded that tonight’s dress/technical rehearsal is from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
