Welcome and description of the organization
The Believers Band organization consists of two bands – the Believers Concert Band and the Southern Journey Big Band. The current Board of Directors consists of both musical directors and the four officers’ positions (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer).

Absentee Voting
Any member of either band who is unable to attend the Annual General Meeting and wishes to vote electronically on any of the following items must send their vote to the band secretary by email at vblake989@gmail.com by noon on the day of the meeting. Proposed Slate of Officers for 2026
The Nominating Committee is presenting the following Slate of Officers for consideration for the 2026 Believers Band Organization. i.e. Concert Band (BCB)/Southern Journey Big Band (SJBB).
Nominees are as follows:
President – Lou Henderson (BCB)
Vice President – Allie Orlando (BCB)
Secretary – Valorie Davidson (BCB, SJBB)
Treasurer- Jody Sanders (BCB)
Proposed additional members to the Board of Directors
The Nominating Committee also recommends we add two Members-At-Large to the Board of Directors at this time. See https://www.believersband.com/bylaws/ Article 9.
They are:
Member-At-Large – Ken Levine (BCB)
Member-At-Large – Patrick Dalton (SJBB)
Ken Levine – plays Baritone Sax in BCB. He has been a member of the band for several years. He is currently Chair of the Donor Relations Committee and presently working on preparing a budget for the Believers Band organization (BCB/SJBB). Background in finance. Ken lives in Lanier Village Estates.
Patrick Dalton – plays bass trombone in SJJB and euphonium in Northwinds Symphonic Band. He would add a voice representing the SJBB on the board. He is a retired band director from NJ. He is fairly new to GA and lives in Commerce.
