Here is our plan for this week:

Monday, June 23, Rehearsal with John LaForge 6-8 pm at GFUMC Sanctuary (5:00 pm Set-up. Please help if you can.) 
Wednesday, June 25, Tech/Dress Rehearsal with the Choir & Tech Crew 6:30-9 pm
Sunday, June 29, Patriotic Concert with GFUMC Choir 4 pm (2-4 pm Set-up & Warm-up)

I encourage everyone to make use of the rehearsal tracks we now have out on our website. They will help you.

Here are more details about Sunday, June 29:

2:00 pm – Set-up stage for concert

2:30-3:15 pm – Brief warm-up

3:15-3:50 pm – Break/Tune with your section

3:50 pm – Be on stage – individual warm-up

3:55 pm – Tune

3:58 pm – Choir enters

4:00 pm – Patriotic Concert with GFUMC Choir 

5:00 pm – After concert, clear stage and put equipment away in the proper storage area.

Things to remember:

• Concert Dress is our formal uniform:
  • Men: Black tuxedo, white shirt, black bow tie, and black shoes and socks. 
    Women: Long black dress or a black blouse with a black long skirt or black dressy slacks and black dress shoes.
• Music and instrument (mutes, accessories, …)
• Music stand lights
• Water bottle

Remember that there are no rehearsals during the month of July!  Have a great break and we will see you at our Back to Band Social in August (details coming soon). We will have our first rehearsal of the 2025-26 season on Monday, August 11th from 6-8:00 pm.
