Upcoming Board Nominations and Committee Opportunities

America may run on Dunkin’, but the Believers and Southern Journey Bands run on volunteers. 

For those of you who missed VP Val Schmid’s appeal last Monday because you were absent, unable to hear or are a member of SJBB that rehearses on Thursday, read on.

Many of us do more than play our instruments. Many more are welcome to join the behind-the-scenes helpers that make the bands and concerts come together so well.

Members from either band can volunteer to help out as a board member or on a support committee. Significant others or friends of a member of either band are welcome, too. (Why let the member have all the fun?)

Right now we are asking for nominations for the following Band Board Officers:

President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, at-large member 

No- everyone is not resigning; we just want to see if there are those who might like to try their hand at being on the board or who you might suggest for one of these positions.

Fear not- They have chairpersons at this time, so you would be helping not leading, unless you would like to step up to oversee a committee.
